We're going to the aquarium,' then stream the drive and hang out at the aquarium (August 29); it was earlier framed as an earlier-tier sub goal where he expects the stream quality may turn to 'utter shit' because of all the water but thinks it would be fun to find out (August 27). Other floated ideas include a soapbox car competition day, driving down to Funko HQ, a karaoke bar IRL stream, a Steam controller giveaway, an IRL stream at Toy Traders (possibly with a budget challenge where friends compete to buy the coolest item), visiting his friend Jake's barn, and jokingly watching every Marvel movie to catch up for Avengers: Doomsday.
• Sub Goals: A new goal roughly every 100 subscribers up to at least 15,000 subs, stretch goals to 30,000–50,000; minor incentives every 50 subs; repetitive batch-gifted goals; and roughly three unfinished goals from Bocathon 2 carried over (August 27). Specific goals include: shotgunning a Red Bull; leg wax strips (single and double); drinking 500ml of lemon juice; drinking a raw egg; drinking one liter of lemon juice; a backflip attempt; tattoo roulette (two smaller spins plus one large tattoo at a very high sub count, using approved designs and a wheel — his tattoo artist is open to streaming the session); a large tattoo roulette piece (forearm or calf); an eyebrow slit (and a double); shaving his head bald at 10,000 subs (a deal where Luality would fly out to do it — he is willing to delay to align with her schedule and would prefer it happen after TwitchCon); opening and drinking his last can of Sprite Lymonade Legacy at 5,000 subs; a camping stream v2 in summer 2027 (extendable up to 4 days); a Dug Doug-style drive-thru food challenge with friends; trying unicycling; trying skateboarding; a TwitchCon road trip (streaming the ~23-hour drive from Blaine, WA to San Diego over 2–3 days, sleeping in his car, with TTS enabled); a VR horror game (possibly on his HTC Vive if the Steam Frame isn't out — the Steam Frame is rumored to release around September 14); 50-turn Mario Party on Brutal difficulty; 100% completion of Super Mario games (a couple of goals, August 27); beating Minecraft; a Minecraft hardcore challenge (Ender Dragon, Elder Guardian, Wither, and Warden in one stream — he'd try to do it sooner rather than later, possibly during a long weekend in December 2026); completing Elden Ring in one continuous sitting (high sub goal); a Halo Marathon in November (every mainline Halo game in one stream, then Halo Reach and Halo 3: ODST separately — updated from October); a fishing stream where chat picks the bait; chat picking cardboard cutouts to purchase; chat voting on his next gaming marathon; Build-a-Bear (bears for a few families, plus the biggest Build-a-Bear at a higher goal); large Lego sets; a mini golf stream; top golf; baking a cake; a spicy ramen challenge; playing The Cabin Factory horror game for at least an hour; Resident Evil 7 VR (hesitant — a refurbished PSVR2 costs around $470 CAD); an aluminum foil ball (a roll per 100 subs); starting the Ninja's Masterclass (continuing later if needed); completing a Bob Ross painting (the cosplay goal is considered done); the joke goal of quitting his day job at 50,000 subs (goals planned all the way to 50k though he doesn't expect to hit it — only after the money clears and proper notice); an office pet (a snake or a real turtle named Tucker 2) once they get an office; an 'oo-woo' (uru) alert every 5 gifted subs; and every 10 gifted subs adding something to an item he will eventually eat (August 25).
• Sub Goal Rewards: Supporters' names could be carved into a piece of wood to hang on a wall, or written on a wall in Sharpie, with higher tiers getting more recognition; thresholds still being determined (August 21). Gifter incentives (still being finalized) could include names written on a wall in the future office, laser-engraved on a metal plate, or a dedicated ceiling tile (July 31).
• Giveaway: He is talking with a brand to hopefully do a giveaway during Bocathon 3, but there is no guarantee yet (August 18).
• Trailer: The trailer is about 2.5 minutes long (way longer than he intended), funny the whole time, sets up the premise of Bocathon 3, and is aimed at the YouTube/Twitter audience that hasn't been keeping up with his chat (August 27). He described an earlier cut as 'phenomenal,' possibly his 'Magnum Opus,' with some shots filmed using an anamorphic lens on his Sony FX30 (August 21). It will be released alongside an announcement stream (he floated September 1, 2, or 8 — originally September 11, before that September 4).
• Pre-Recorded Videos: He plans pre-recorded YouTube videos released during the marathon, including a dedicated Bocathon 3 video; he knows the first video going up on the first Friday and needs to pre-record two more (August 8). The 'big announcement project' video goes up on the 18th (August 28). He noted he can't really review videos while live doing Bocathon, and that he cannot do two YouTube videos a week — his brain is already at full capacity (August 28).
• Website: A dedicated website at boca.lol/bocathon will list all sub goals, merch links, and warehouse fundraiser information; he is working on it with community member AJ (August 3, 25). AJ also has a countdown to Bocathon 3 (August 15).
• Subtember: Twitch's Subtember includes discounted subs all month (25% off 1-month, 25% off 3-month, 30% off 6-month), custom power-ups with 10% extra bits from September 12–18, and bonus gifted subs from September 25 to October 1 (Minecraft Dungeons 2 adds at least one extra sub per five gifted, sometimes more). Gifted subs go furthest during the last week (August 18, 22). He pointed out that anyone who subscribes now can subscribe again during Bocathon, leaving the last couple of days (the 28th, 29th, 30th) to sub again (August 28).
• Merchandise: New merch will include hoodies, t-shirts, stickers, and a new mouse pad, with merch giveaways (August 22). He is thinking of putting merch on sale early, starting around September 11 (August 27). He accidentally leaked the new sticker designs in his August 28 YouTube video (visible for 'like a quick second'). He has ordered 250 supporter pins of a single logo design — a higher-priced token item (likely near $50 USD) providing free worldwide shipping on the entire merch order, with proceeds toward the warehouse fund (August 24, 25) — and is still deciding whether to offer a second ultra-deluxe, higher-priced pin design (August 25). Other items include a Doodle Cat-commissioned mouse pad, three or four commissioned art pieces, a hoodie, and a t-shirt; the Bocathon 3 logo is in a vaporwave style (July 27). • Bed Sponsor: FlexiSpot is the bed frame sponsor; he may still build the FlexiSpot bed frame on stream during Bocathon after all (August 27). He needs to purchase a new mattress for the event (August 27). A mid-roll video will run during or before the marathon (August 10).
• Logistics: This will be the final marathon held in his current apartment. Due to limited storage space, he plans to work with sponsors on items he will use on stream and then give away to friends. He is acquiring multiple Sony FX30 cameras for a multicam setup and hopes to have them set up before Bocathon (July 28, August 15, 21). He is pursuing a title sponsor (e.g., an energy drink or bed sponsor) via his agency, open to splitting sponsorship between day and night segments (August 8). He plans to focus more on dual streaming to YouTube after Bocathon 3 (August 15).
