Day Job Video Release Boca's 'day job' video comes out September 13, 2026, featuring a joke about having a third arm (or third leg). Boca's 'day job' video is coming out on September 13th, 2026. It features a joke they cracked about having a third arm (or third leg). This was mentioned on August 30. Note: this is a scheduled YouTube video release, not a live stream.

Bocathon 3: The Quest for Space A two-week (~336-hour) continuous subathon marathon from September 17 to October 1, 2026 — 'just hanging out for two weeks' with lots of gaming and IRL content — to raise funds for a warehouse/office space down payment, with big announcements, extensive sub goals, an aquarium IRL day, Blueprints, Wolverine, sleep cams, bedtime stories, new merch, a Twitch front page feature on September 24, and Subtember integration. Boca will be live for his Bocathon 3 marathon stream from Thursday, September 17, 2026 through Thursday, October 1, 2026 — he confirmed Bocathon 'goes from the 17th to the first' (August 28), a two-week straight (~336-hour) continuous stream. He stressed the date is 'most likely' not changing but could shift if something comes up; the official trailer will contain the finalized dates (August 27). He is taking the two weeks off from his day job (unpaid, as he had no vacation time left), and planned it in September specifically because of Twitch's annual Subtember event.
- Theme & Fundraising Goal: 'The Quest for Space' — raising money toward a down payment (or a chunk of one) on a dedicated office/warehouse space, not the full cost; he clarified the event will not even make $50,000 (August 27 Discord). All money from sub alerts and Tangia points goes toward the warehouse fund (August 27). He is still hunting for a warehouse — the size he's looking for is 'not disclosed yet' (August 29). He recently saw a dream property: a 4,000-square-foot warehouse with a legal two-bedroom apartment and 600V/100A three-phase power (~100,000 watts), listed at $1.5 million Canadian (August 21); he previously looked at a unit next to his day job in the $1M–$1.7M CAD range (July 24). He would buy a warehouse before a house, and a life goal with his company Concussion Studios is to pay his employees more than he pays himself, living off dividends (August 27).
- Big Announcements: A 'really sick announcement' is planned (August 22), plus 'crazy fun announcements, crazy fun games and challenges' (August 9, 18), and a 'top secret project' separate from his server project that he has been saving money for (July 28, 31). A big announcement project YouTube video is slated for the 18th (September 18), which he has been working on in the background for a while (August 28).
- Format: The plan is to 'just hang out for two weeks' — variety content with lots of gaming and lots of going out and doing IRL things (August 29). He will be on camera roughly 99% of the time (including sleeping and eating), and viewers can tune in any time of day since he'll be live around the clock (July 27, August 9, 27). He chose to start on a Thursday to end on a Thursday, giving himself a three-day weekend to recover before returning to work. He has actually been working on a temp schedule for the marathon, which he won't show yet because he doesn't want to leak it (August 30). He invited viewers to submit game, challenge, and sub-goal ideas in the subathon thread on his Discord (August 18, 25).
- Emotions: He gets anxious about Bocathon because he wants every single second people spend in the stream to be a good time (August 28). He is confident he will cry during the stream, probably at the end — from exhaustion after streaming that long while trying to talk and stay entertaining, and because Bocathon is a special time where he gets to fully disconnect from the rest of the world, so it is very emotional when it ends; he also has a lot of fun with it (August 27, 28).
- Twitch Front Page: The stream will be featured on the front page of Twitch on Thursday, September 24, 2026 (confirmed August 30; he originally applied for September 22 or 23 on August 8, and said on August 24 it would be the Thursday of the second week). When a viewer suggested he make sure to have fun content planned to keep the front page viewers around, he answered 'Bocathon, baby' — that's what he has planned — and mentioned, possibly jokingly, doing 'eight hour Minecraft sessions' during the front page (August 30). On that Thursday (the 24th), the current schedule just has 'some gaming stuff planned' — not too much else (August 30).
- Subscriber Discount: He plans to use a 35% subscriber discount feature on Twitch during the first couple of days (August 25).
- Sleep Streams & Cams: There will be a sleep cam, a cat cam, and a sleepy/'FNAF' cam (August 9, 27). His wife Taylor might be gone every single night (staying with his parents for a couple of nights plus going on a trip), meaning viewers may get to use sound alerts every night to try to wake him up; she will still be around for a couple of nights (August 27). A little speaker will be set up by his bed for wake-up alerts on nights she's away (August 15). During sleep streams he cranks the ads up to 22 minutes per hour (versus his normal 6.5 minutes per hour) (August 15).
- Bedtime Stories: Planned for the first three nights while Taylor is there — she would read 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie' to chat and show the pictures, with no sub goal attached; any subs earned during story time go to Taylor. He only has one children's book at home and might get more from the store (August 18, 27).
- Play with Chat: The most 'play with chat' games will likely be Jackbox, Marbles, and Golf with Friends (August 9 Discord); Jackbox is confirmed (August 15), and Fortnite has been added as a possible game (August 15).
- Games & IRL Content: Marvel's Wolverine is the game he is most excited for — he confirmed it releases during Bocathon and will be played during the marathon (August 28, 30; earlier summaries had reported a September 15 release, but the most recent statements say it releases during the marathon). He will play through the entire story of Titanfall 2 (August 25). Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may be played (August 22). Horror games are on the list (August 21), and he plans to revisit 'A Quiet Place' (August 12). He wants to add Blueprints to the calendar — six or eight hours of it; he loves that game and wants to bring it back (August 30). He plans to replay some of his favorite games that have been played on stream before (August 18), visit local card shops to buy Pokémon cards and open them on stream (August 21), and do lots of IRL segments going out and doing things (August 27, 29). One day is planned as an aquarium IRL stream — he will declare on stream 'Alright guys, we're leaving. We're going to the aquarium,' then stream the drive and hang out at the aquarium (August 29); it was earlier framed as an earlier-tier sub goal where he expects the stream quality may turn to 'utter shit' because of all the water but thinks it would be fun to find out (August 27). Other floated ideas include a soapbox car competition day, driving down to Funko HQ, a karaoke bar IRL stream, a Steam controller giveaway, an IRL stream at Toy Traders (possibly with a budget challenge where friends compete to buy the coolest item), visiting his friend Jake's barn, and jokingly watching every Marvel movie to catch up for Avengers: Doomsday.
- Sub Goals: A new goal roughly every 100 subscribers up to at least 15,000 subs, stretch goals to 30,000–50,000; minor incentives every 50 subs; repetitive batch-gifted goals; and roughly three unfinished goals from Bocathon 2 carried over (August 27). Specific goals include: shotgunning a Red Bull; leg wax strips (single and double); drinking 500ml of lemon juice; drinking a raw egg; drinking one liter of lemon juice; a backflip attempt; tattoo roulette (two smaller spins plus one large tattoo at a very high sub count, using approved designs and a wheel — his tattoo artist is open to streaming the session); a large tattoo roulette piece (forearm or calf); an eyebrow slit (and a double); shaving his head bald at 10,000 subs (a deal where Luality would fly out to do it — he is willing to delay to align with her schedule and would prefer it happen after TwitchCon); opening and drinking his last can of Sprite Lymonade Legacy at 5,000 subs; a camping stream v2 in summer 2027 (extendable up to 4 days); a Dug Doug-style drive-thru food challenge with friends; trying unicycling; trying skateboarding; a TwitchCon road trip (streaming the ~23-hour drive from Blaine, WA to San Diego over 2–3 days, sleeping in his car, with TTS enabled); a VR horror game (possibly on his HTC Vive if the Steam Frame isn't out — the Steam Frame is rumored to release around September 14); 50-turn Mario Party on Brutal difficulty; 100% completion of Super Mario games (a couple of goals, August 27); beating Minecraft; a Minecraft hardcore challenge (Ender Dragon, Elder Guardian, Wither, and Warden in one stream — he'd try to do it sooner rather than later, possibly during a long weekend in December 2026); completing Elden Ring in one continuous sitting (high sub goal); a Halo Marathon in November (every mainline Halo game in one stream, then Halo Reach and Halo 3: ODST separately — updated from October); a fishing stream where chat picks the bait; chat picking cardboard cutouts to purchase; chat voting on his next gaming marathon; Build-a-Bear (bears for a few families, plus the biggest Build-a-Bear at a higher goal); large Lego sets; a mini golf stream; top golf; baking a cake; a spicy ramen challenge; playing The Cabin Factory horror game for at least an hour; Resident Evil 7 VR (hesitant — a refurbished PSVR2 costs around $470 CAD); an aluminum foil ball (a roll per 100 subs); starting the Ninja's Masterclass (continuing later if needed); completing a Bob Ross painting (the cosplay goal is considered done); the joke goal of quitting his day job at 50,000 subs (goals planned all the way to 50k though he doesn't expect to hit it — only after the money clears and proper notice); an office pet (a snake or a real turtle named Tucker 2) once they get an office; an 'oo-woo' (uru) alert every 5 gifted subs; and every 10 gifted subs adding something to an item he will eventually eat (August 25).
- Sub Goal Rewards: Supporters' names could be carved into a piece of wood to hang on a wall, or written on a wall in Sharpie, with higher tiers getting more recognition; thresholds still being determined (August 21). Gifter incentives (still being finalized) could include names written on a wall in the future office, laser-engraved on a metal plate, or a dedicated ceiling tile (July 31).
- Giveaway: He is talking with a brand to hopefully do a giveaway during Bocathon 3, but there is no guarantee yet (August 18).
- Trailer: The trailer is about 2.5 minutes long (way longer than he intended), funny the whole time, sets up the premise of Bocathon 3, and is aimed at the YouTube/Twitter audience that hasn't been keeping up with his chat (August 27). He described an earlier cut as 'phenomenal,' possibly his 'Magnum Opus,' with some shots filmed using an anamorphic lens on his Sony FX30 (August 21). It will be released alongside an announcement stream (he floated September 1, 2, or 8 — originally September 11, before that September 4).
- Pre-Recorded Videos: He plans pre-recorded YouTube videos released during the marathon, including a dedicated Bocathon 3 video; he knows the first video going up on the first Friday and needs to pre-record two more (August 8). The 'big announcement project' video goes up on the 18th (August 28). He noted he can't really review videos while live doing Bocathon, and that he cannot do two YouTube videos a week — his brain is already at full capacity (August 28).
- Website: A dedicated website at boca.lol/bocathon will list all sub goals, merch links, and warehouse fundraiser information; he is working on it with community member AJ (August 3, 25). AJ also has a countdown to Bocathon 3 (August 15).
- Subtember: Twitch's Subtember includes discounted subs all month (25% off 1-month, 25% off 3-month, 30% off 6-month), custom power-ups with 10% extra bits from September 12–18, and bonus gifted subs from September 25 to October 1 (Minecraft Dungeons 2 adds at least one extra sub per five gifted, sometimes more). Gifted subs go furthest during the last week (August 18, 22). He pointed out that anyone who subscribes now can subscribe again during Bocathon, leaving the last couple of days (the 28th, 29th, 30th) to sub again (August 28).
- Merchandise: New merch will include hoodies, t-shirts, stickers, and a new mouse pad, with merch giveaways (August 22). He is thinking of putting merch on sale early, starting around September 11 (August 27). He accidentally leaked the new sticker designs in his August 28 YouTube video (visible for 'like a quick second'). He has ordered 250 supporter pins of a single logo design — a higher-priced token item (likely near $50 USD) providing free worldwide shipping on the entire merch order, with proceeds toward the warehouse fund (August 24, 25) — and is still deciding whether to offer a second ultra-deluxe, higher-priced pin design (August 25). Other items include a Doodle Cat-commissioned mouse pad, three or four commissioned art pieces, a hoodie, and a t-shirt; the Bocathon 3 logo is in a vaporwave style (July 27). The new mouse pad is his favorite design ever (multiple variations, usable as a desktop wallpaper), but the samples may have been lost by DHL (~$150 spent; reordered while fighting for a refund) (August 27), and it matches the new stickers. There will be no plushie due to production lead times; some merch may be delayed (August 9); he may pivot to a pink 'puppy coded' hoodie if other merch is delayed (August 9). He commissioned streamer NuclearShark to tuft a custom rug (she has started working on it and is choosing the design to surprise him), but he is waiting until after Bocathon to move forward because he has spent way too much on Bocathon prep (server rails, the pin order, hard drives); he also won't commission new cat emotes for a while for the same reason (August 27, 28).
- Badges: Anyone who subscribes or gifts a sub during Bocathon 3 receives a special channel badge (August 24, July 27); every 5 gifted subs earns viewers an exclusive Twitch badge (July 24).
- Bed Sponsor: FlexiSpot is the bed frame sponsor; he may still build the FlexiSpot bed frame on stream during Bocathon after all (August 27). He needs to purchase a new mattress for the event (August 27). A mid-roll video will run during or before the marathon (August 10).
- Logistics: This will be the final marathon held in his current apartment. Due to limited storage space, he plans to work with sponsors on items he will use on stream and then give away to friends. He is acquiring multiple Sony FX30 cameras for a multicam setup and hopes to have them set up before Bocathon (July 28, August 15, 21). He is pursuing a title sponsor (e.g., an energy drink or bed sponsor) via his agency, open to splitting sponsorship between day and night segments (August 8). He plans to focus more on dual streaming to YouTube after Bocathon 3 (August 15).
